THE STORY
The trendy neighborhood of Silver Lake sits on the eastside of the city of Los Angeles. Built around the reservoir which bears its title, Silver Lake was named after local politician Herman Silver. In 1906 Silver was instrumental in lobbying for the building of the reservoir. The hilly cityscape hood is best known for its vintage flea markets and local street art.
