THE STORY
The triangle bordered neighborhood that sits below Canal Street in the Lower Manhattan section of New York is known as Tribeca. The neighborhood is home to the Tribeca Film Festival, which has premiered the world of Independent filmmaking each spring since 2002. Founded in part by Robert De Niro, the film festival was established to bring rebirth to the cultural community after the 9/11 attacks.
