THE STORY
The city of Pasadena lies at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, northeast of Los Angeles in Southern California. Pasadena is home to the famed Rose Bowl Stadium, which opened in 1923 and hosts the annual Rose Bowl Game. Each year, as the calendar turns, preceding the football game, Pasadena rolls out the Tournament of Roses Parade. The parade has marched its way through the streets of Pasadena since 1890.
